1.2 Special Report 20/05/2016

Hi guys well its some time after the special report has gone live, here’s my round up for those who havent yet watched the re-broadcast.

 

 

Loot Drops

They want loot drops to be the best source of items, so to do this they have taken a stance to give more in terms of quantity and quality.

They have done this by doing the following:

Missions

These are your Warren Gates and your Russian Consulates that are currently in the game

  • Hard Mode (Boss Drops) = 1 x 163 High End
  • Hard Mode (Mission Reward) = 1 x 163 High End
  • Challenge Mod(Boss Drop) = 2 x 182 High End, 1xHigh End or 214 Gear Set change for 1x 191 Gear Set
  • Challenge Mode (Mission Reward) 1x 182 High End

Incursions

This is Falcon Lost and the new Clear Sky

  • Hard Mode(Boss Drop) 1x 204 High End Weapon, 1x 214 Gear Set, 182/204 High End or 214/240 Gear Set
  • Hard Mode(Weekly Reward) 1x 204 High End Weapon, 1x 214 Gear Set
  • Challenge Mode(Boss Drop) 1 x 204 High End, 1x 240 Gear Set, 1x 204 High End or 1 x 240 Gear Set
  • Challenge Mode Weekly Reward 1x 20x High End Weapon, 1x 240 Gear Set

Open World

This is from the New High Value Targets missions.

  • High Value Target(Daily) 1x 182 High End or 214 Gear Set, chance for 1 x 192 gear set
  • High Value Target(Weekly) 1 x 182 High End or 214 Gear Set
  • High Risk Target(Weekly) 1x 204 High End or 1x 214 Gear Set, chance for 1 x 240 Gear Set

Dark Zone

This one’s a big list so hold tight!

Bracket 0 – 160 and 161 – 200 have the following changes

  • Named NPC Level 30 (DZ01 and DZ02) 1 x 163 High End or 191 Gear Set
  • Named NPC level 31 (DZ03 and DZ04) 1x 163/182 High End or 191/214 gear set
  • Named NPC level 32(DZ05 and DZ06) 1x 163/182/204 high end or 191/214/240 gear set

Bracket 201+

  • Named NPC level 32 (DZ01 and DZ02) 1x 182/204 High End or 214/240 Gear Set
  • Named NPC Level 33(DZ03 and DZ04) 1x 182/204 High End or 214/240 Gear Set
  • Named NPC Level 43(DZ05 and DZ06) 1x 204 high end or 240 gear set

Supply drops

These have also been buffed

Bracket 0 – 160 and 161 – 200 have the following changes

  • DZ01 and DZ02 1x 163/182 High End chance for 191 Gear Set
  • DZ03 and DZ04 1x 163/182 High End chance for 191/214 Gear Set
  • DZ05 and DZ06 1x 182/204 High End chance for 214 Gear Set

Bracket 201+

  • DZ01 and DZ02 1x 182/204  High End chance for 214/240 Gear Set
  • DZ03 and DZ04 1x 182/204 High End chance for 214/240 Gear Set
  • DZ05 and DZ06 1x 204 chance for 240 Gear Set

Holy Loot changes batman!  This will definatly move the best source of loot away from crafting making running missions/open world/Darkzone the best source of loot.

Gear Sets

They wanted to change the way you play using the gear sets, making them specific for a role for each set more so than the current ones.

Final Measure

This is called the Tank/Support set large amount of exotic damage resilience along with protection from elites.

2 Set +50% Exotic Damage Resilience

3 Set + 15% Protection From Elites

4 Set  For every grenade you throw you gain a buff to defuse an incoming grenade and will reward you with another grenade, you can defuse the mortars in Falcon Lost.

This is designed as the Tanky set

Hunters Faith

The marksmen rifle set

2 Set + 20% Marksman Rifle Critical Hit Damage

3 Set + 20% Damage To Elites

4 Set Hitting an enemy with a bullet grants you temporary armor the further away you are the more armor you gain this can take you over armor cap.

Lone Star

This is the LMG/Shotgun set.

2 Set + 100% ammo capacity

3 set + 1000 LMG Damage / + 1000 Shotgun Damage

4 Set When the weapon is holstered it regains full ammo

Can drop from anywhere but some specific actions will get you some specific pieces.

Predators Mark

This seems to be focused at Assualt Rifles

2 Set + 20% Optimal Range

3 Set + 800 Assault Rifle Damage / +700 Pistol Damage

4 Set Hit 10 shots without switching target to make the target bleed for 100% of the damage already done by bullets.

Balancing

There are not doing any direct weapon balancing in 1.2 however they are making tweaks to some weapons to bring them up into line via gear sets and fixing some talents on the gear, they will always try and buff something however if its super overpowered they may have to nerf instead like sentrys set.

Armor Cap Increase

Because of the increase in player damage coming in 1.2 they have increase the armor cap up to 75% to try and counter-act this, you now have the option to offset your damage for survivability.

Open World – Search And Destroy

You will need to have cleared _ALL_ the side missions (Not intel) from an area to be able to access the Search and destroy missions this are available from each safe house in the relevant area.

Once you have interacted with the board you will get markers on the map in your zone, running to these will allow you to kill some NPCs which when you clear you get 1 Intel Token.

You get Critical Zones as well if you do the search and destroy in that area you get double the tokens.

When you clear one critical area another one spawns.

When you clear all 3 in one area, you can go back to the board and get 2 extra intel tokens and a guaranteed 163 High End.

Open World – High Value Targets

This is where you spend your tokens, you have 2 new NPC’s in the security wing where you have the Weekly and Daily contracts for High Value Targets.

Each contract has different levels of difficulty, the High Risk targets you can only try once, if you fail you will need to re-purchase again.

You can also only have one contract active any any one time, and you shouldn’t get two the same in a row.

Dark Zone – Brackets

Gear score 201+ is a new bracket to help divide the gear difference between players.

This bracket drops guaranteed Gold division tech in this bracket, and loot drops are better (As listed above)

they have also increased the drops of weapons in the Dark Zone.

Dark Zone – Hijack Rope

They felt that being able to attach your loot you can run away lost the risk feeling of getting loot in the Dark Zone, so now players have to protect their loot until the chopper leaves as players can cut the rope

All items attached will drop on the floor for everyone to pick up and is spread out around the whole extraction area.

As soon as you start cutting the rope you go Rogue(19 seconds) if you finish the cut you will go Rank 1 Rogue.

If you are shot while cutting the rope you will get push back and slow down the rope cut.

Dark Zone – Stash’s

Stash’s have been added to Dark Zone Checkpoints, this is to help with not having to fast travel back to the Base or Safe House to clear out your stash.

You can now stay in the Dark Zone with no need to leave the Dark Zone.

Dark Zone – Sealed Cache

These are dropped from any NPC’s but only the named will drop High End or Gear Set Cache.

These have a range of Div Tech and Dark Zone funds, there is also a chance to get a bonus item.

These need to be extracted.

New Incursion  – Clear Sky

Rikers have taken over a Surface to Air Missile site, its our job to take this from them by any means necessary, this is based inside columbus circle.

This seems to be less wave based (From the short preview we saw) however the 2nd part could be a waved based encounter, we need to clear our way to Columbus Circle to get to the SAM site.

It is said that you will need people specializing in Support/Tank etc to handle this mission best

Next Incursion – Broadcast Center

This was shown on the map and is guessed to be the next incursion.
